What can I expect from Sony at IFA 2017?
Sony will almost certainly announce the successor to the Sony Xperia XZ and XZ Premium at IFA 2017. Although the name has not been officially confirmed, the upcoming flagship Android phone is likely to be known as the XZ1 or XZ2. There is also talk of a compact version of this phone being announced at the show.
The most exciting thing about the new Sony phone is that it may feature a ‘bezel-less’ display that isn’t actually entirely bezel-less but follows the same trend toward super-slim bezels as the Galaxy S8 and LG G6. Other specifications will likely be fairly standard for an Android flagship, and include the Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM and a Quad-HD resolution.
We’ll bring you more news as it is announced.
